Do you have a love of flowers?

I love winter, the cosy fires, the dark nights, but then Spring arrives, and its such a liberating feeling to have the warmth of the sun on our faces, the birds singing as you rise. Flowers though are one of my greatest passions and spring flowers in particular give me so much pleasure and warms the cockles of my heart.

Each morning a saunter around the garden, to watch the change begin and the shoots appear. Then as each blossom grows and the hard work done in the Autumn comes to life I just want get out in the garden to be amongst the scents and sounds of spring, cutting blooms to arrange to giveaway or bring inside to enjoy them as much as we can during their short life spell.

If you follow us on instagram or Facebook you will see our posts are often adorned with flowers of the seasons. If you don't already follow us, we have very mixed posts but then thats because we have so many varying aspects to our life at Lone Barn why not give us a try!

Our barn is great for workshops and this week sees our Easter Floral workshops with a couple of spaces on Thursday 18th April still available. You will arrive to freshly brewed coffee, blueberry muffins, and then spend the morning, arranging flowers to either grace your Easter table or giveaway as an Easter gift. Prosecco will be out at midday and the morning finishes with a home cooked light bowl lunch. What better way to spend a morning with your friends or simply to have some time out for you. You can book here !
