Just back from early morning Rudder walk. Blue skies the rising sun, having had a torrential downpour all weekend and last week a pleasant change!. (don't speak to soon)

We attended a friends wedding in the downs on Saturday (The weather came good) and it just reminded me of how lucky we are to live and work in this outstanding area, it’s now back to work !

This time of year is always very popular for B&B guests and The Stables Cottage.

Last minute rush before back to school?

Bargain Hunter? - don't you just love a good deal. We are about to put up some promotional/discount codes for guests looking to plan ahead. So if you are like us then grab yourself a bargain please check out our promo page. This is continually updated so please keep popping back!

The pop-up coffee stops come around quicker & quicker ! (this coming weekend infact) On the Friday of the pop up (see our pop up page for details) we are raising awareness and money for Young Minds.

Having just completed very successful flowers & fizz evening workshop, we are now rolling out our Autumn and Winter programme. More on that in a bit.

After all the concerns about the recent weather Mels cutting patch certainly turned out well in the end! Fizz flowed and so did the creativity! Some stunning arrangements as can be seen on our Facebook and Instagram posts.

The buzzword for the coming season is tennis!

We are delighted and excited to be teaming up with Rhian & James from Rebalance in Hambledon initially offering a range of options from hourly individual coaching sessions, group sessions and in 2020 all being well full weekend /mid week reboot yourself packages ! Keep an eye on our Website and Rebalance website for more details.

Our Autumn/Winter workshop/retreat programme is starting to fall into place for retreats and workshops with the welcome return of Sew Creative from Petersfield on the 22nd of September for a TEXTILE RETREAT day, then Sally Stone returns to run a photographic workshop on Sunday 3rd November. Both of these were extremely popular earlier in the year and great fun for all concerned so don’t leave it too late if you’re looking to try something new or improve on existing skills or interest.

Just remember despite all the grim news around at the moment we are here to help you “find a way to get away” and give you some you time! (hope that wasn’t too pithy!)

Thank you for your continued support all the best Paul and Mel
